I would love to highly recommend this business. I took a family member there who has some disabilities. They were so wonderful and professional. They made her feel so beautiful and worked with all her problems. From dress to jewelry. Never entered such a great place to shop. Fantastic

My friends and I decided to visit the shop and have a lunch date. What a nice surprise when we visited Monroe's. Linda was the sales clerk and could not have been nicer. The clothes, jewelry, accessories were so unique. I bought a beautiful scarf. We had so much fun looking at everything and buying a few items. We then proceeded to Melanies which is connected to Monroe's. What a nice lunch we had. If you want to have a nice day out in Hamburg and lunch, this is the place for you. Definitely will go again..

I had such fun shopping at Monroe's today, and I don't often enjoy shopping for clothes! I found styles that suited me, or Linda actually found them, and there were some amazing deals! I will probably go back to Monroe's instead of the mall or the plaza in OP, because I left feeling great! Thank you for the personal service! I will spread the word!
Linda is awesome that is for sure! It is our number one pleasure to assist all our customers completely from head to toe! Most small boutiques are either limited in sizes, prices & choices... this is not the case with us! The malls & chain stores have all the same stuff and their prices are not always real great either. Sooooooooo now you know where to go to find good stuff and in advance I thank you for spreading the word! <3
I spent over two hours at Monroes Place this afternoon. Even though I live in the area, it was my first visit. It was actually reccomended to me by my sister from Knoxville, TN, who saw it on the Hamburg Happenings site. It's an amazing store, and the customer service given by Linda was superior to any I have ever received. I called my daughter and she met me there. Together we went from room to room. We both had a wonderful and successful experience. There were so many displays of dresses, clothing, purses, jewelry and accessories, it would have been impossible to leave empty handed. The prices were reasonable and the sale items were great. I intend to reccomend this store to friends, family, and anyone who would like a unique shopping experience.

Monroe's Place is AMAZING!!!! Not only do they have a HUGE selection of beautiful clothes-they have amazing jewelry, shoes and handbags that are one of a kind!! Monroe is a wonderful, fashionable and very helpful lady!!! She knew my body type, what would look amazing on me and how to accessorize! She was so patient and kind and spent a lot of time with me and my Mom!! We had so much fun and we walked away bags in hand and very happy!!! All of Monroe's clothing and items are VERY reasonably priced! I cannot wait to go back and this time I am bringing my friends and sister-in-law! If you are looking for a dress shop look no further!!! Monroe and her wonderful staff are ready to help the minute you walk in the door. This cool shop has something for every style & size. I literally walked in with three days to get a prom dress for my daughter, of course Monroe snapped right into action. She brought out many selections short & long, color after color. Her input & suggestions are spot on! She also has a way of making you feel so special & truly gets excited when you find "the one". Her daughter is equally amazing & kind to all the girls. We left with a beautiful dress, shoes & accessories! My daughter looks like a princess! I have also shopped there last year with my other daughter & had the same fantastic customer service & a great dress. Thank you Monroe once again for coming through! You & your staff are amazing & I will keep coming back for dresses.
I can not recommend Monroe's Place enough! I stopped by Monroe's one afternoon to get a top to wear to my son's big concert. A task that seems simple enough; however, as any woman can attest, even a simple shopping outing can be quite depressing. This is NOT the case at Monroe's! I can honestly say that this was one of the BEST shopping experiences I have ever had. From the moment I stepped into the store, I felt comfortable and was given the best possible customer service. Monroe acted as my personal shopper and stylist. She recommended pieces that complimented my body type, and added on beautiful accessories that accentuated the outfit (as well as my body). I stood in awe before the mirror after trying on each outfit; I simply couldn't believe how great I looked! I also have to mention how affordable all of the clothing, shoes and accessories are. I not only left with the item I was in search of, but I also purchased amazing (core) mix and match pieces that I am sure to wear for a VERY long time. All for a GREAT price!!! Monroe's Place will, without a dounbt, be the first place I stop when it's time to shop!

My daughter and I had searched every bridal store in the WNY area only for her senior prom...... to not find what she was looking for. A customer at one of these stores told us about Monroe's Place. We had never heard about this store but boy were we pleasantly surprised! We rushed to the store on a saturday evening and arrived 40 minutes before they closed. The owner's daughter (Aslana) was fabulous! My daughter is not what I consider fat but she is also not a size 2. Aslana listened to what she wanted and then gave her opinion of what style would look good for her body type. We went from my daughter wanting a black plain dress to a gorgeous teal form fitting dress that she looks absolutely stunning in! This all was in done in 30 minutes! She made my daughter feel like a million dollars! in fact, my daughter said "it was the first store where they didn't make me feel fat.......Aslana took my attributes and made me look fabulous"...."I can't wait to go to prom". The following Monday I called to make sure the owner knew how special her daughter was. today we went to pick up the dress and bought the jewlery! Thank you Aslana and thank you Monroe....you have something many hope to have....extraordinary goods and extraordinatry customer service! Thank you. In a matter of a week I chose a Mother of the Bride dress, bought a rehearsal dress, accessorized (affordably and stylish) and will be returning shortly for the bridal shower dress. This is the kind of place to spend the afternoon, the morning, the day.... and just try on, browse, have a great time and be comfortable! There is so much to look at. Monroe is a blast, tells it like it is....(if it looks good-it looks good, if it doesn't work-it doesn't work... simple), she has an eye for style, knows what people can and can't afford, and makes the whole experience positive (her daughter is pretty great too!). Walk in and don't be intimidated, ask about the lay-out of the store, what is on what floor and enjoy!! From uber formal to swimsuit cover-ups and all the accessories in between... such a cool place.
Look for a prom dress with a 16 year old who has her heart set on a $400 dress and can't be talked out of is a challenge. After searching the Tonawandas, williamsville and cheektowaga, we finally found her dress at the Galleria -- $600!! The dress was hideous and unflatering, but she loved it and so did theshop ppl that were there, they thought it was so great on her. I had her try on another dress of a different style and the liked it (it was cheaper), but still said the other was great. We left that store and she agreed to try a few more stores. On a google quest, I found Monroes Place. We walked in to this nice store and were greated by the owner and her daughter. both very nice and professional. After she found out we what we were looking for, she asked my daughter her likes, dislikes and the look she wanted. She then proceeded to talk to her about her body shape, then asked me why i didn't like the dress she had tried on previously. With a little thought she said she would have the perfect dress for her. Kind of a happy compromise btwn my daughter and my thoughts. She was right. It was gorgeous and flattering and my daughter loved it!!! This is not your ordinary store. This is a store who wants you to like you no matter what shape or size. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone -- There selection ranges prom to ever day to mother of the bride to jewlery, etc. Happy Shopping!

I bought my daughter's wedding dress at Monroe's Place. She gives better & more personal service than any of the 4 local Bridal Shops we went to and had more of a selection with very reasonable prices. I will return soon to get my Mother of the Bride Dress!

Monroe's Place is great. Monroe & Lindia are the best. I found Monore'swhen my middle daughter was looking for a gown for prom in 2010. They were great & she got the gown she wanted at a great price. My mom & I even got our gowns there for my oldest daughter's wedding.Just got my youngest her prom gown there also I won't go any where else. They take the time to help find the dress thats right fro you & th color. The store is neat & clean and they always have a smile on their faces. They also treat you like family.

I Hate shopping any where else.. this is the place to go for ANY occassion.. from Bahama Trips to Toby Keith Concerts. Monroes is the only place to go.. Personal service. If you are someone who has a hard time with choosing an outfit, you definitely have to go see Monroe and Linda.. They are the Best!

As a full time Mary Kay consultant, outstanding, personalized customer service is the backbone of my business. Sadly, I don't often receive the same level of customer service as I try to give. Happily, my expectations are always met or exceeded at Monroe's Place! They know "what a girl wants" and devote how ever much time and attention is needed to make sure we get it! Got 2 gorgeous special occassion dresses for a huge professional event last year (for less than some of my colleagues paid for ONE dress!) I looked and felt fabulous, and I will certainly be I'll be going back to Monroe's for this years event!
